Efficacy of sewage sludge derived biochar (Reclyzer™) on enhancing soil health and crop productivity in strongly acidic soil.

This study was conducted by our team to explore the potential of our sludge-biochar (Reclyzer™) as a soil amendment to improve soil health and crop productivity. In strongly acidic soil (pH 5.0), biochar derived from sewage sludge was tested at various concentrations to evaluate its effects on soil properties and crop growth. Findings show that Reclyzer™ biochar application significantly increased biomass yield in winter wheat, spinach, and mung bean, and enhanced soil stability by improving its physical, chemical, and biological properties, and enhancing the overall soil health.
